For the adjustable-voltage version device, a feed-forward capacitor (C_FF) can be connected from the OUT pin to the FB pin. C_FF improves transient, noise, and PSRR performance, but is not required for regulator stability. Common C_FF value choices range between 10 nF and 100 nF. A higher capacitance C_FF can be used; however, the start-up time increases.
