The device features a programmable, monotonic, voltage-controlled, soft-start circuit that uses the C_NR/SS capacitor to minimize inrush current into the output capacitor and load during start up. This circuitry can also reduce the start-up time for some applications that require the output voltage to reach at least 90% of the set value for fast system start up.
