Output Voltage Less Than the Reference Voltage

Connecting an external resistor divider at the ADJ/EN pin, as shown in Figure 6-3, can help generate an output voltage that is lower than the reference voltage. Both R1 and R2 must be less than 100 kΩ to minimize the error in voltage caused by the ADJ/EN pin leakage current, IADJ/EN. Equation 2 calculates VOUT.
