9 Power Supply Recommendations

The device is designed to operate from an input-voltage supply range from 3 V to 40 V. The input supply must be well regulated. If the input supply is located more than a few inches from the TPS7B81-Q1, TI recommends adding a capacitor with a value greater than or equal to 10 µF with a 0.1-µF bypass capacitor in parallel at the input.
