8.2.2.10 VIN Dropout Protection and PWM Dimming

The resistor divider, RUV1 and RUV2, is set to meet VIN(UVLO,RISE) and VIN(DO,FALL) thresholds.

Equation 34. RUV2 = 2×4.510×10-6-7.910×10-6-10×103=100×103
Equation 35. RUV1=1.224.5-1.22×100×103=37.2×103

A standard value resistors of 100 kΩ and 37.4 kΩ are selected for RUV2 and RUV1, respectively.

The external PWM signal is achieved by controlling UDIM input. The device modulates the LED current based on the PWM duty cycle of the external signal, coupled through external diode.
