7.3.6.1 Setting the Switching Frequency

The TPSM846C24 is set to a default switching frequency of 500 kHz. To operate the TPSM846C24 at the default switching frequency, connect the RT_SEL pin (pin 14) to AGND and leave the RT pin (pin 13) open. To change the switching frequency, leave the RT_SEL pin open, and connect a resistor from the RT pin (RRT) to AGND. Use Equation 2 to calculate the RRT resistor value.

The TPSM846C24 devices are designed to operate from 300 kHz to 1 MHz.
