8.4.3 DisplayPort Mode

The TUSB546A-DCI supports up to four DisplayPort lanes at datarates up to 8.1 Gbps. TUSB546A-DCI can be enabled for DisplayPort through GPIO control or through I2C register control. When I2C_EN is ‘0’, DisplayPort is controlled based on Table 2. When not in GPIO mode, enable of DisplayPort functionality is controlled through I2C registers.
