10 Power Supply Recommendations

The DAC8x11 is designed to operate with a unipolar analog power supply ranging from 2 V to 5.5 V on the AVDD pin. The AVDD pin supplies power to the digital and analog circuits (including the resistor string) inside the DAC. The current consumption of this pin is specified in the Electrical Characteristics table. Use a 1-μF to 10-μF capacitor in parallel with a 0.1-μF bypass capacitor on this pin to remove high-frequency noise.
