3.3.4 Distance

The distance map is a map of the shortest distance (or the Euclidean distance) from the camera origin to the point in the scene, through the pixel where the point is imaged. The distance map is directly proportional to the phase map outputted by the time-of-flight controller (TFC). The values are in millimeters.
