6.4.2.2 Software Test of CPU

It is possible to test the integrity of various CPU logic (C28x, FPU, TMU, and so forth) using software-based self-test library (STL). TI will provide a C28x_STL startup test library with 60% diagnostic coverage for C28x, FPU, TMU, and VCRC. For more details, see Section 4.3 and the documentation found within TMS320F280015x C28x_STL software installation. Error response, diagnostic testability, and any necessary software requirements are defined by the software implemented by the system integrator.
