8 Updating BQ27427 Configuration Parameters

The BQ27427 gas gauge has RAM-based data memory parameters that can be updated if needed by the host processor. It may be useful that the application system main processor perform the actual firmware updating, rather than having an external tool do it. This appendix provides all the information necessary to implement a system firmware that sends the required I2C commands to update the RAM-based parameters in the BQ27427 device.
