PRODUCTION DATA
The TPS2663x devices respond differently to overload with MODE pin configurations. Table 8-1 explains the operational differences.
MODE PIN CONFIGURATION | OVERLOAD PROTECTION OPERATION | DEVICE |
---|---|---|
Open | Active current limiting at 1x for a maximum duration of tCL_PLIM(dly). There after Latches OFF. Latch reset by toggling SHDN low to high or UVLO low to high or power cycling IN_SYS. | TPS26630, TPS26632, TPS26636 |
Active current limiting at 2x for tCB(dly) duration followed with 1x current limiting for a maximum duration of tCL_PLIM(dly). There after Latches OFF. Latch reset by toggling SHDN low to high or UVLO low to high or power cycling IN_SYS. | TPS26631, TPS26633, TPS26635,TPS26637 | |
Shorted to GND | Active current limiting at 1x for a maximum duration of tCL_PLIM(dly). There after auto-retries after a delay of t(TSD_retry). | TPS26630, TPS26632, TPS26636 |
Active current limiting at 2x for tCB(dly) duration followed with 1x current limiting for a maximum duration of tCL_PLIM(dly). There after auto-retries after a delay of t(TSD_retry). | TPS26631, TPS26633, TPS26635,TPS26637 |
