8.13 PMBus Addressing

UCD3138 offers two constant current sources for excitation of resistors used for setting the PMBus address, as shown in Figure 8-13. The two current sources are connected to CH-0 and CH-1 of ADC-12 and are disabled as default. The nominal current is preset to 10 µA.

To activate these current sources the following bits in PMBCTRL3 register in PMBUS registers section need to be set.
