The transmit bit clock, ACLKX, can only be derived:

  • From an external source via the AHCLKX pin
  • Internally from the AUXCLK

ACLKX cannot be sourced from the AHCLKR pin. For more information about clock sourcing diagrams, see the McASP chapter of the device-specific TRM.
