Expectations of the Tool

Optimal image quality from a camera system is a function of the sensor, lens and ISP all tuned for best possible quality. TI provided tool and software are designed to tune TI ISP only. Before starting ISP tuning, it is strongly recommended that image sensor has been configured to get output best possible quality RAW images. To get optimal sensor configuration, please contact the sensor vendor. TI SDK includes sample configuration and tuning for some image sensors, but this is not guaranteed to be production ready.
