22.5.1 Message Object Interrupts

Message object interrupts are generated by events from the message objects. They are controlled by the flags IntPND, TxIE and RxIE which are described in Section 22.13.1. Message object interrupts can be routed to the CAN0INT or CAN1INT line, which is controlled by the Interrupt Multiplexer register.

Note that writing to the IntPnd bit in the CAN_IFnMCTL registers can force an interrupt.
