According to Equation 14, the ramp generator should be selected such that a peak voltage of 5 V is produced each cycle when the HV-port voltage is 48 V.

Select CRAMP1 = CRAMP2 = 1 nF. Therefore,

Choose the closest standard resistor value, namely:

RRAMP1 = RRAMP2 = 95.3 kΩ.

For optimal performance, CRAMP1 and CRAMP2 should be ceramic capacitors with tolerance not greater than 10%. Capacitors of the 5% or 1% C0G and NPO types are preferred.
