8.4.2 Multiphase Total Current Monitoring

To minimize the number to signal lines, multichannel monitors can be combined into a total current monitor. Figure 8-26 shows an example of total current monitor of a three phase system in which the unused fourth phase monitor (U2-IOUT2) is grounded.
