8.3.17 Overvoltage Protection (OVPA, OVPB)

As shown in Figure 8-18 and Figure 8-19, the LM5170-Q1 includes the overvoltage protection function for both HV-Port and LV-Port. Use the OVPA pin for the HV-Port protection, and the OVPB pin for the LV-Port protection. It should be pointed out that the OVPB protection function is disabled during the boost operation mode, while the OVPA function is always enabled in both buck or boost operation modes.
