11.1 Application Information

The TPS2586x-Q1 is a step down DC-to-DC regulator and USB charge port controller. The TPS2586x-Q1 is typically used in automotive systems to convert a DC voltage from the vehicle battery to 5-V DC with a maximum output current of 5 A in dual Type-A ports applications. The TPS2586x-Q1 engages a high efficiency buck converter, letting the device operate at as high as 85°C ambient temperature with full load.
