8.4.2 Soft-start Mode

After the VCC voltage is above the UVLO threshold, all the faults are cleared, and DIS/FLT is released, the converter operates in the soft-start mode. During the soft-start period, the switching frequency gradually decreases to reduce the current stress. The soft-start period duration is 1.5 ms. The UCC25800-Q1 transformer driver always operates in soft-start mode during startup or after fault recovery. Refer to Section 8.3.2 for more details of soft-start mode.
