CC33XX-SOFTWARE

Overview

The CC33XX devices are single and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 companion devices suitable for both Linux and RTOS based systems. CC33XX-SOFTWARE is a collection of software development sources aimed to facilitate quick setup, out-of-box experience, and accelerate development in Linux or RTOS environments for the CC3300, CC3301, CC3350 and CC3351 devices.

CC33XX-LINUX-MPU
Includes sources for CC33XX Linux drivers supporting both Wi-Fi and BLE.
Pre-build images for AM335x, AM62, AM62P and AM62A host for out-of-box evaluation.
Support for nearly all LTS Linux Kernel versions and host MPUs is available. Review the User’s Guide or reach out on E2E to learn more.
CC33XX-RTOS-MCU
Includes components that enable engineers to develop applications with CC33XX on a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) on a microcontroller.

This PREVIEW CC33XX RTOS MCU Software Package delivers components that enable engineers to develop applications on the Texas Instruments CC33XX Wi-Fi devices and Sitara family of microcontrollers (MCU).

This software toolkit provides the drivers for CC33XX devices to be used with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) on a microcontroller.

This is version R5 of the CC33xx MCU Software Package.

Release Information

The SimpleLink Connect Mobile app is an example Bluetooth® Low Energy application for mobile devices that works with:

CC13xx and CC26xx devices running the SimpleLink Low Power SDK
CC33xx devices attached to a host running the CC33XX Software.

The app provides a baseline for users to quickly build their own mobile apps, using iOS or Android. Source code is provided enabling easy customization.

Release Information

SimpleLink Wi-Fi Toolbox is a cross-platform software kit, that provides all required tools for fast and easy ramp-up of the CC33xx family of devices. One of the included tools is Radio Tool.

Radio Tool is a tool for RF evaluation and testing of CC33xx designs, during development and certification. The tool enables low-level radio testing capabilities by manually setting the radio into transmit or receive modes. Usage of the tool requires familiarity and knowledge of radio circuit theory and radio test methods.
