Overview
IAR Embedded Workbench delivers a complete development toolchain for building and debugging embedded applications for your selected target microcontroller. The included IAR C/C++ Compiler generates highly optimized code for your application, and the C-SPY Debugger is a fully integrated debugger for source and disassembly level debugging with support for complex code and data breakpoints.

- Example projects for MSP430 devices and code templates.
- Support for TI's MSP430-TXT output format.
- TI ULP Advisor™ Software integrated.
IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm
Key components:
- Supports the TM4Cx Arm Cortex-M MCUs, SimpleLink MCUs, Hercules Safety MCUs, and Wireless MCUs, as well as the Sitara MCU and Sitara MPUs.
- Supports SimpleLink software development kit (SDK) including example projects and code templates.
- Support for SimpleLink MSP432 Automatic Software In ROM (SIR) debugging.
- Support for the Enhanced Emulation Module gives trace and sequencing functionality.
- TI XDS debug probes.
- XDS Emulation Software including automatic firmware update for XDS110 emulator.
