Overview

The LDC5072-Q1 evaluation module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the LDC5072-Q1 inductive position sensor. The EVM contains all passive components necessary for the LDC5072-Q1 and can be quickly evaluated in a system.  A sensor printed circuit board (PCB) for the LDC5072-Q1 can be created by the LDC5072-Q1 sensor designer tool.

Release Infomation

  • This tool generates Gerber files for an evaluation board containing the sensor and LDC5072.

     If you would like to have PDF versions of the board files displayed after Gerbers are generated,

    then please download the gerber2pdf.exe file from https://sourceforge.net/projects/gerber2pdf/files/

    and place it within the installation folder LDC5072_Sensor_Designer/application as gerber2pdf_ALT.exe.

  • If gerber2pdf_ALT.exe is missing, then the tool will reminder you with the text:

    Cannot find Gerber2pdf.exe.

    Please download from ti.com or

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/gerber2pdf/

    if you would like to view the Gerber files as pdfs.

    Save the file as application/Gerber2pdf_ALT.exe.
