WHIS-3P-SAFERTOS
Overview
SAFERTOS® is a unique real time operating system designed for embedded processors. It is precertified to IEC 61508 SIL3 and ISO 26262 ASILD standards by TÜV SÜD. SAFERTOS® was crafted specifically for safety by WHIS' team of experts and is used globally in safety critical applications. WHIS and Texas Instruments have collaborated for over a decade. During this time, WHIS has ported SAFERTOS® to a wide range of TI processors, supporting all popular cores, with additional architectures available upon request. SAFERTOS® is bespoke to your specific processor/compiler combination and comes with full source code and Design Assurance Pack, which provides complete transparency throughout the entire Design Life Cycle. Many WHIS customers begin development with FreeRTOS and due to a clear migration path, transitioning from FreeRTOS to SAFERTOS® is straightforward. WHIS offers a free manual with detailed instructions for upgrading from the FreeRTOS kernel to SAFERTOS®.
