      Redundant power supply

      The redundant power supply is another supply rail in o-ring configuration with the main power supply to the central microprocessor. Each power supply is capable of powering entire auxiliaries and only one runs at a time. It normally comes from the 12-V battery side and provides additional protection against power failures of the high voltage battery.
